Online auctions
Here, buyers will find answers to their questions about, among other things, how to make bids (24 hours 7 days a week), bids at a fixed date, or how to perform previous inspections.
to consult information about corporate or other auctions is completely free and does not require that you register by creating a user account.
To bid in an online auction "online" or in live broadcast on the internet "webcast" or to use our Alerts tool, you must register as a user. Fill in the form only takes a few minutes and it is basic information (see below). Once registered, your account can already be used for future sales and auctions.
Creating a user account is free. This allows you to use our Alerts tool. The rest of the actions (such as obtaining a bidder number or making a bid) may require you to provide us with a credit card or have an associated cost (please refer to the terms and conditions of each sale). Before we ask for your credit card, it will clearly state if 1) your card will be used only to validate your identity or if it will be charged, 2) the amount of the transaction and if the cost will be refunded
To create an account, click on the option to register in the upper bar on the right of the home page. Next, fill in the required fields in the registration form, including the email address, the password and a single login name. Once the form is completed, click on "Continue".

Common problems in the registration or in the beginning of session
Nothing happens when I click on the option to continue or on the option to send. I remain on the same page. I can not register for a sale.
The possible causes are:
Cookies are not active. GoIndustry DoveBid uses a functionality of your browser called "cookies," a small data file stored on your hard drive that allows us to see if you have visited us before and thus allows us to improve the functionality of the page each time you enter. Some browsers have "disabled." To activate them, go to Properties or Options or search the Help menu of your browser.
Microsoft® Internet Explorer 7.0 To be able to enjoy all the features of go-dove.com you must update your browser to version 7.0 or higher (to see its version, select "Help, About Internet Explorer" from the top bar) To update it, go to "Tools, Windows Update."
IE browser security settings. Sometimes, the security level is set to "Custom" or another option other than "Medium". You must change the security settings to Medium (select "Tools, Internet Options, Security").
Full cache memory. Having the cache full means that there are too many (or an earlier version of) Internet files and cookies on the hard drive. See below.
How to clear the cache of the main Web browsers:
To speed up the search through the Internet, browsers were designed to download Web pages and store them locally on the hard drive, in an area called "cache". When you visit the same page a second time, the browser speeds up the display time by loading the page locally from the cache, instead of reloading all its contents. This, sometimes, results in the appearance of Web pages that are not the most recent.
On occasion, it may not be convenient for you to retrieve a page from the cache. The page you originally viewed may be different than the page that currently appears on the Internet. In case a particular URL has been modified, it is convenient to see the updated page, instead of the one in the cache

How to make offers
Once registered, the auction started and you have found the item you are interested in, enter a price in the bid cell on the page of the item details. You can enter either the Next allowed bid or the maximum price for which you are willing to purchase the lot.
Now click on "Make offer" on the item details page.
The "Offer Confirmation" page will open where you can modify, cancel or send your offer. To complete the process, enter your password at the bottom of this page and click "Send." At that time, you will be informed if your offer has been accepted and if you can make a higher offer.
Once the bid is made, you can see it on the article's data page.
AutoPuja. An AutoPuja is the maximum amount that would be willing to bid for an item. The online bidding system will automatically bid on your behalf if other bidders place bids. It will only be activated if there are other bidders, so it would not necessarily pay the maximum amount entered. The AutoPuja will only move above the normal bid increments if: there is another autopuja in that lot or if its autopuja is greater than or equal to the reserve price of that lot. In this case, the highest bid will be shown as the reserve price. The autopuja can be increased at any time. Note: AutoPuja is not applicable to Multi-Lot or Multi-Price auctions.
Partial quantities If the item is sold using a multiple lot format, choose the total number (quantity) of lots you want to buy from each type at that price and indicate whether you will receive a lower number of lots (smaller quantity) than the amount you want.
Bid History To view the bid history of a batch, click on "Auction Summary" at the top of the batch's details page. The largest bidder will be listed first followed by the bids immediately after with the corresponding bidder number.
New bidders Please note that your screen (browser) will NOT update automatically. Update your browser (press F5 in MS Internet Explorer) to view the updated information.
Dynamic closing On many occasions the closing hours are extended as a courtesy to the bidders with slower Internet connections. Offers made on any lot within the last 10 minutes of the scheduled closing time for that lot will extend the closing time by an additional 10 minutes. This process will continue until there is no offer activity in those 10 minutes on said batch.
Cancellations of offers and lots in auction
Cancel a Bid. To cancel a bid already sent, contact the Customer Assistance Service immediately with an explanation and the identification number of the lot in question. It is not possible to cancel bids on a lot once you have been a winner.
NOTE: GoIndustry DoveBid will cancel or modify bids only for transcription errors in the bids. "Change your mind", not having carefully read the description of a lot or other similar reasons, will be accepted as reasons to cancel a bid.
If the bid of the highest bidder is canceled, GoIndustry DoveBid may contact the next bidder on the same item and bid it at the same price as the original bidder. The second bidder has no obligation to accept the purchase of the lot in question.
Cancellation of lots in auction. Cancellation or closure of a lot by a seller is possible.
As established in our Terms and Conditions, GoIndustry DoveBid reserves the right to edit or withdraw articles listed on our website without prior notification.
After the auction
Once a lot has closed (the bidding period has expired), it is sold to its maximum bidder or it will remain unused because: 1) there have not been bids or 2) the bids have not reached the Reserve Price.
Reserve price not reached. If the reserve price is not reached at the end of an auction, the Seller has the option to accept the highest bid, close the auction or include it in another sale at the same or lower price.
Winning bidders If your bid is the highest at the time of closing an auction AND the bid is equal to or greater than the reserve price, you win the bid. Winning bidders will receive an email and should receive a final invoice within 24 hours. after the auction is over. The invoice will contain instructions for payment, disassembly and transportation.
Payment shipping Your invoice will include instructions and payment options
Disassembly, Transportation and Logistics. The removal of an item from its location and transportation to its new location is the responsibility of the Buyer. If the item does not specify withdrawal information, contact our Customer Assistance service for more information BEFORE BIDDING.How to include Assets in our sales
